A few steps from the Duomo Square
Just steps from Piazza Duomo, this project involved the complex renovation of a 19th-century residential building dating back to the 1850s. The intervention created six levels above ground with a total of nearly 2,000 square meters of gross area, accommodating 22 apartments and suites, a ground-floor restaurant, and a basement dedicated to fitness and amenities.

The intervention created six levels above ground with a total of nearly 2,000 square meters of gross area, accommodating 22 apartments and suites, a ground-floor restaurant, and a basement dedicated to fitness and amenities.
The design aimed to craft a true “place of well-being” in the heart of Milan — a retreat from the bustle of the city center and the constant flow of tourists around the Duomo. Every design choice worked toward this goal, from the selection of eco-sustainable and biocompatible materials and technologies to the creation of a contemporary interior language that incorporates wood finishes and uses warm lighting in harmony with the building’s historic character. Special attention was also given to acoustic insulation, allowing each apartment to remain quiet and comfortable despite its central location.

The result is a building that combines the charm of Milan’s historic fabric with modern standards of comfort and sustainability, offering a unique and serene living experience in the Piazza Duomo.
